Apple has long been rumored to be breaking production of chip components to manufacturers other than Samsung to reduce dependence on partners as well as rivals it. How to TSMC? These manufacturers are reportedly finalizing Apple A7 chip design to be used in the iPhone 6. The prototype is said to be ready in May. Mass production is scheduled to be started early 2014.
